Corporate Grants & Giving
CymaBay’s current giving priorities focus on patient advocacy, research, and clinical education in primary biliary cholangitis (PBC), though we may consider other areas of focus as funding allows.
Patient Advocacy: We provide unrestricted grant funding to patient advocacy groups that provide support to patients living with PBC and their families. These funds may be used to increase awareness, provide patient and family resources, expand access to care, support research, and host educational events, among other activities.
Continuing Medical Education: For the medical and scientific community, we support ongoing education for healthcare professionals, such as Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs.
Scientific Research: We also support research that expands the medical and scientific community’s understanding of PBC or other liver diseases. Research organizations we support may include medical schools, hospitals and health systems, academic medical centers, colleges and universities, or professional organizations.
